Engineers and scientists at JFWTC have contributed to hundreds of aviation patents, pioneering breakthroughs in engine technologies, advanced materials, and additive manufacturing.\nRole Overview:\nThe ideal candidate should be process oriented and have a collaborative working-style to help accelerate the implementation of the digital platforms supporting one of the world's largest, digital software businesses.\nLead the EBS DBA support for critical ERP environments hosted in Oracle Cloud, supporting 24x7 global sites.\nEstablish data governance and issue management processes.\nPartner with application operations, product development, and infrastructure teams to deliver highly available, secure, cost-effective EBS DBA services, advancing best practices and formulate strategy as related to data, analytics, and business metrics.\nActively work with the Digital IT leadership group to implement enterprise data strategies.\nActively work with cross functional teams, management and key stake holders to program manage, review progress and functional delivery on a regular committed basis.\nResponsible for deploying digital technology products as required to achieve business functionalities.\nReduce operational cycle time and drive simplification through implementation to automation solutions\nManage architecture and operations activates to ensure ERP compute infrastructure is used efficiently and produces a long - term business benefit.\nMaintain and apply current knowledge of information technology; keep abreast of new and emerging technologies and help determine if/how they can be used to add value to the business.\nParticipate in budget management responsibilities and inputs info financial planning and other business activities.\nIdeal Candidate:\nIdeal candidate should have minimum 15Years of experience in technical area and ands on experience as Oracle Application DBA\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s or Master's Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, technology, Engineering and Math). A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in a technical area (Architecture, Software, or Information technology). \n7 + years of “Hands-On” experience as Oracle Application DBA supporting infrastructure, database, and technology stack components for e-Business Suite platforms in a large global organization, including 5 years in leading DBA support/projects for large Oracle ERP.\nPreferred Qualification\nKnowledge of Oracle EBS 12.2.3 or above including installations, configuration, Apps DBA, Sysadmin, PSU/CPU, patching, Backup/Restore/Cloning, Autonomous Database and EBS NextGen Technology stack.\nExperience of Oracle EBS Maximum Availability Architecture, Data archiving/re-org, Oracle IDCS, setting up Fusion Middle Ware for ECC/Demantra, DNS setups, Java certificates, encryption keys, SFTP setups.\nExperience with setting up EBS integrations like AppWorx, PPM, PVCS, Oracle Application Express.\nOracle Cloud Infrastructure knowledge.\nWeb Server expertise - Fusion Middleware 12 and 14 (EBS/Apex/IDCS Asserter/ECC/Demantra) - Server installation and Maintenance and Web Admin responsibilities.\nCustom Application Maintenance and management including installations, problem analysis, problem resolution, configuration, and performance tuning\nExperience with Unix shell and PL/SQL scripting for managing databases, applications, backups/restore/Clones\nBusiness Acumen:\n Ability to establish credibility and influence Executives, technical and non-technical team members\nDemonstrate business acumen and the ability to apply technology solutions to solve business problems.\nUnderstanding of Change Management processes in a large IT environment\nFamiliarity with iterative development methodologies\nPersonal Attributes:\nEnergetic, technical innovator who will bring their expertise along with a keen drive to learn new technologies.\nPossess an operational mindset to build out processes to digitize operations\nAbility to hit tight deadlines and work under pressure\nStrong interpersonal skills: verbal, written and listening\nStrong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive\nDemonstrated customer focus - evaluate decisions through the eyes of the customer.\nBuild strong customer relationships and create processes with customer viewpoints.\nAt GE Aerospace, we have a relentless dedication to the future of safe and more sustainable flight and believe in our talented people to make it happen.
