The plant produces cooking products for the Monogram®, GE®, GE Profile™ and CAFÉ™ brands.Why join our team?\n· Paid weekly\n· Medical, dental and vision benefits starting day one\n· Tuition reimbursement and career development\n· Paid vacation, holiday and personal time\n· And, so much more!\nPosition\n3rd Shift Team LeaderLocation\nUSA, LaFayette, GAHow You'll Create Possibilities\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nLead daily safety and ergo briefing and stretching exercises. \nMake Safety a priority. \nLead Team meetings and be the communications source for the team. \nLead 6S workouts for the team and maintain 6S in work area. \nEnsure all operators have PPE; Review JSI and Required PPE with new team \nmembers; and housekeeping & supplies. \nReport any unsafe hazards or conditions to BTL or EHS Rep. \nTake ownership for updating JSIs and managing production schedules. \nInput equipment and safety Work Orders and notify proper personnel to keep \nequipment, fixtures, and tools in good shape; ensure all are operational. \nMake sure operators do not get behind. \nReport any parts issues to Process Leader and work with Line Loaders on \nshortages; contact Quality Analyst when parts are bad. \nBe certified on all CTQ jobs on the team and ensure CTQ stations have \ncertified operators. \nEnsure quality and safety procedures are followed by the team. \nGuide part-time members and utilities to cover for absenteeism and meetings. \nTrain operators & evaluate on performance. \nReview Bills of Material and check for part changes. \nReview and manage Team overtime and Scrap Budgets. \nModel Basic Principles. \nSupport NPI program implementation (T-reviews, Manufacturing reviews, and \nTrial Runs) \nWhat You'll Bring to Our Team\nREQUIRED:\n- High school diploma or G.E.D.\n- Interpersonal skills\n- Knowledge of assembly line parts and processes\n- Able to perform all jobs on line\n- Material Management System (MMS) and Operating Systems\n- OJT certified\n- Computer skills (Word, Excel, RC Menu, etc.)\n- Be able to repair units\nOur Culture\nOur work is centered on our People and Culture as reflected in our Zero Distance philosophy and we recognize the importance of reaffirming our commitment to inclusion and diversity (I&D).
