We are seeking a dynamic Senior Process Improvement Engineer to spearhead operational excellence within our manufacturing value stream. In this role, you’ll lead, coach, and develop a specific production area, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met while cultivating a culture of continuous improvement.\nPosition\nSenior Process Improvement EngineerLocation\nUSA, Louisville, KYHow You'll Create Possibilities\nManufacturing Operations\nLead and optimize performance within a designated production area, driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost\n\nOversee maintenance, continuous improvement, and overall efficiency of equipment across production lines and fabrication areas\n\nSupport the Operations Manager and coordinate daily production start-up to ensure lines are operational, properly staffed, and running smoothly\n\nMonitor and analyze production and fabrication data to identify performance gaps and ensure effective communication across shifts\n\nImplement and sustain lean manufacturing practices and standardized work to maintain process stability\n\nCoach equipment operators and Team Leaders to ensure adherence to established processes and standards\n\nContinuous Improvement\nLead problem-solving efforts and root cause analysis to address inefficiencies within the production area\n\nFacilitate kaizen events and implement countermeasures to improve manufacturing line performance\n\nChampion the Appliance Production System and promote a culture of continuous improvement\n\nLeadership & Administration\nProvide leadership and direction to team members, ensuring consistent and fair application of policies, procedures, and work rules\n\nCollaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to plan and execute long-term equipment and process improvement projects\n\nEnsure accurate and timely completion of payroll, disciplinary documentation, and other administrative responsibilities\n\nPartner with Human Resources on employee relations and disciplinary matters\n\nQuality & Safety\nEnsure all products meet quality specifications and uphold established quality standards across the production line\n\nLead quality reviews, track defects, and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve production issues\n\nPromote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with Lockout/Tagout procedures, proper PPE usage, leading incident investigations, and implementing corrective actions\n\nWhat You'll Bring to Our Team\n5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with emphasis on manufacturing engineering, maintenance, and project execution\n\nBachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required or in progress, preferably in Engineering or a related field\n\nExperience working with or leading metal fabrication and/or automated equipment operations\n\nSix Sigma certification preferred, with strong knowledge of Lean, DMAIC, and continuous improvement methodologies\n\nProven track record of driving results using analytical problem-solving, project planning, and cross-functional teamwork\n\nExperience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles in an operational setting\n\nLeadership experience or technical expertise in areas such as manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, materials management, quality, procurement, or fulfillment\n\nDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels, including maintaining positive union relations\n\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines\n\nHigh level of initiative, energy, and motivation, with a commitment to team success and professional growth\n\nDemonstrated technical proficiency in manufacturing or operations environments\n\nExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills\n\nStrong problem-solving abilities with consistent follow-through on initiatives\n\nExperience facilitating and leading team-based projects\n\nWillingness to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment, including occasional off-shift, on-call, and weekend work\n\nOur Culture\nOur work is centered on our People and Culture as reflected in our Zero Distance philosophy and we recognize the importance of reaffirming our commitment to inclusion and diversity (I&D).
