To provide onsite customer support, candidate needs to be willing to work throughout the Brooklyn and Manhattan, NY service area.\nJob Description\nResponsibilities:\nAs directed, use knowledge of customer contract to ensure obligations are met.\nPrioritize service, assign personnel, and follow up on commitments.\nMay assist BMET Leader and ASL with employee appraisals, status changes, promotions, disciplinary actions, and questions.\nShare on-call or service call escalation.\nFunction as Site Leader and is responsible for customer relationship at assigned sites.\nEnsure service quality via frequent customer contact and formal quality reviews.\nResponsible for prompt and accurate filing of expense, time, and service reports.\nMay track and analyze financial performance with DOS or MCE.\nMay maintain approved parts inventory and manage vendor service delivery processes in compliance with GE policies.\nMaintain technical knowledge of current standards for safe, effective use of medical equipment through instruction.\nMay provide instruction to hospital personnel on equipment operation, diagnostics, effective use, and repair.\nMeet Health and Human Services, Environmental Health and Safety, and other applicable regulatory requirements.\nEffectively communicate and partner with teammates and colleagues.\nQualifications:\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of experience servicing medical equipment;\nOR equivalent military education and 4+ years of experience servicing medical equipment;\nOR High School Diploma/GED and 6+ years of experience servicing medical equipment\nA minimum of four years' experience as a Biomedical Technician and one-year progressive team leadership experience effectively supervising and coaching technical personnel, as well as effectively resolving customer relations issues.\nQualified experience in a customer service environment with resulting knowledge of customer account coordination.\nExperience managing financial and administrative requirements of the position.\nStrong communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to the customer in an easy to understand manner.\nAbility to analyze metrics and reports (SEDs).\nProficiency in completing electronic documentation using technological tools (e.g., Ipad, Iphone) and familiar with technological programs (e.g., Microsoft Office).\nWilling to travel outside of the assigned region.\nMust have and maintain a valid driver's license.\nLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
