In addition, GE HealthCare has been awarded as Top 100 employers, according to ranking \"Actualidad Económica - El Mundo-\".Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world.\nIn this role, the Field Engineer Apprentice will observe and perform various equipment service processes and procedures to drive customer satisfaction and ensure proper functionality of less complex equipment.\nJob Description\nRoles and Responsibilities\nWith minimal supervision, as assigned, perform planned maintenance (PM), safety and environmental inspections and maintain effective customer relations.\n\nFollow appropriate GE policies, procedures, hospital protocol and complete necessary documentation.\n\nMaintain daily communications with customers, to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.\n\nYou may need to assist more experienced technicians and FSE’s on basic and complex repairs /resolution respectively.\n\nWork as a member of local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within assigned area and document all actions and submit reports/summaries according to schedule.\n\nEnhance and maintain technical knowledge of current standards, codes and procedures regarding safe and effective use of medical equipment through formal instruction.\n\nPlease note this is a 12-month contract with GEHC.\n\nQualifications/Requirements:\nEngineering Vocational Training or University Degree (biomedicine, telecommunications, electronics, industrial). *Completed in the past 3 years, and they must not have had this type of contract previously - The length of this contract is up to 12 months.\n\nProven experience performing in a compliance environment and working within code and procedures to ensure safe and effective operation of devices.\n\nProficiency in completing electronic documentation using PDA and computer skills.\n\nPrevious experience developing and maintaining good customer relations.\n\nWilling to occasionally travel outside of assigned region plus a valid driving license\n\nSpanish and English oral and written skills\n\nDesired Characteristics:\nPrevious experience in a hospital setting.\n\nAnalytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to the customer in an easy to understand manager.\n\nExperience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution based service process.\n\nInclusion and Diversity:\nGE HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
