Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world.\nJob Description\nRoles and Responsibilities\nLead manufacturing process design, development, setup, industrialization, and validation for new and existing products, ensuring robust and repeatable manufacturing processes.\nLead product and process change management, including implementation of applicable FMIs and maintenance of manufacturing documentation such as SOPs/Work Instructions, DMRs, DHRs, PFMEAs, process maps, and quality plans.\nProvide technical leadership for vacuum furnace, vacuum systems, brazing, machining, drilling, milling, and related manufacturing processes, including troubleshooting and process optimization.\nLead equipment qualification, verification, validation, calibration, and manufacturing readiness activities to ensure equipment and measuring systems meet process and quality requirements.\nAnalyze product and process quality trends, lead root cause investigations, and drive corrective and preventive actions for internal failures, supplier defects, and customer rejections.\nMaintain product BOMs, routings, labor hours, cost roll-ups, and related manufacturing data in Oracle; partner with Finance and Operations to maintain product costs within established targets.\nDrive cycle-time reduction, process simplification, productivity improvement, waste elimination, and product/process cost-reduction initiatives.\nLead and support New Product Introduction (NPI), product transfer, and VCP projects, providing manufacturing process expertise and innovative solutions to Engineering and Production teams.\nDrive Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and Poka-Yoke/error-proofing initiatives, including improvements to jigs, fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing processes.\nLead manufacturing layout, process-flow design, and optimization to improve productivity, material flow, safety, and effective utilization of manufacturing space.\nSupport the specification, selection, ordering, installation, and management of manufacturing tools, jigs, fixtures, equipment, and capital assets, ensuring appropriate traceability.\nDevelop and maintain safe manufacturing processes, ensuring applicable safety requirements, assessments, and risk-control measures are incorporated into equipment and process design.\nCollaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams to improve process stability, manufacturing capability, product quality, cost, and overall operational performance.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.\nMinimum of 7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/process engineering.\nStrong hands-on experience in manufacturing process development, process optimization, validation, and process control.\nExperience with vacuum furnace operations, vacuum systems, brazing processes, and related troubleshooting.\nStrong technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving capabilities for complex manufacturing and process issues.\nDemonstrated experience driving corrective and preventive actions, process improvements, and manufacturing productivity initiatives.\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience with equipment qualification, verification, validation, and manufacturing readiness activities.\nAbility to collaborate effectively across Production, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations teams.\nStrong experience working with multiple stakeholders is mandatory.\nProven experience in managing teams effectively.\nPreferable experience in the healthcare industry with ISO 13485 certification\nStrong oral and written communication skills.\nDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.\nAbility to document, plan, market, and execute programs.\nEstablished project management skills.\nInclusion and Diversity\nGE HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
