Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world.\nJob Description\nRoles and Responsibilities\nProvide project leadership on new process development projects\nFabricate prototypes and characterize mechanical, electrical, and acoustic properties\nCollaborate with suppliers to develop improved processes and materials\nCollaborate with global stakeholders to develop and maintain technology roadmap\nLead the application and training of Six Sigma methodologies\nEstablish design and processes requirements to improve yield, performance, and reliability\nPerform design verification to demonstrate new processes meet requirements\nSupport design transfer through process documentation, specifications, and technical support\nCollaborate with the manufacturing engineer to assess the process change and solve IB problems\nRequired Qualifications\nMasters in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical/Materials Engineering, Bioengineering, Manufacturing Engineering or comparable engineering field.\nAt least three years of experience in the industrial process sector such as ultrasound transducers, MEMS, micro mechanics or equivalent (preferably medical products) or in a laboratory related to these activities with direct responsibility for design and development of processes, and materials.\nExcellent level in chemistry (gluing, polymers, surface preparation, plasma, ...), and mechanics (micro-assembly mechanics, dicing of ceramic or semiconductor substrates using dicing saw) and / or knowledge theory of adhesives (epoxy, cyanoacrylate) and additive industrial processes.\nKnowledge of CAD software (PTC Creo, SolidWorks, Autocad) is desired.\nKnowledgeable in using lab equipment to test physical or mechanical properties of materials for building transducers.\nStrong analytical and empirical skills to solve difficult problems including proficiency with Design of Experiments and Statistical Process Control methodology.\nCreativity in defining new processes and successfully implementing them.\nExperience in the design of ultrasound transducers is a plus\nBe able to communicate with cross-functional team members in English.\nThe spirit of initiative, ability to motivate, versatility, focused on the results \nPersonal development skills: curiosity, ambition, enthusiasm, team spirit-oriented results.\nDesired Characteristics\nPhD Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Chemical/Materials Engineering, Bioengineering, Manufacturing Engineering or comparable engineering field or Masters with over 5 years of experience in related industrial process sector.\nExpertise in the field of chemistry related to the adhesion between dissimilar materials and a fundamental understanding of cleaning, surface preparation, and plating methodologies.\nSix Sigma green belt or black-belt certification.\nInclusion and Diversity\nGE HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
