Operating in a high-mix, low-volume regulated manufacturing environment, the site combines advanced engineering, precision manufacturing, and lifecycle support to deliver critical imaging technology for patient care.\nThis role focuses on developing and validating concepts using scientific and engineering methods to demonstrate feasibility and performance through testing and analysis. Working under close supervision, the individual follows established procedures within a structured framework.\nJob Description\nRoles and Responsibilities\nAnalyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost.\n\nDevelop, implement, and monitor new or modified processes and procedures.\n\nComplete process and equipment qualifications and validations.\n\nConduct experiments and trials to validate process changes and collect data.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, and quality assurance.\n\nTroubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.\n\nDocument process specifications, operating procedures, and training materials.\n\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing efforts.\n\nEnsure compliance with all regulatory bodies, such as FDA, safety and environmental regulations.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field or Associate's degree and 3 years experience in a similar manufacturing environment.\n\nProficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, JMP, etc.).\n\nDesired Characteristics\n2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in process engineering or a regulated industry.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nClear written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to work both independently and collaboratively.\n\nKnowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles.\n\nExperience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).\n\nExperience with process capability analysis and Gage R&R.\n\nKnowledge of materials or acoustics.\n\nWe will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.\n\nGE HealthCare offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
