Experience in embedded or hardware-integrated systems is a strong advantage.Job Description\nResponsibilities\n· Design, develop, and maintain robust software components in modern C++.\n· Own features and technical tasks from requirements and design through implementation, integration, testing, and release.\n· Participate in software architecture, technical design discussions, and code reviews.\n· Develop reliable multithreaded and performance-sensitive software.\n· Investigate complex software and system issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.\n· Integrate software with hardware, devices, algorithms, and other system components.\n· Write clean, maintainable, testable, and well-documented code.\n· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system engineering, AI/algorithm, product, and verification.\n· Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering practices and knowledge sharing.\nMandatory Skills and Experience\n· B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.\n· 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, with strong expertise in C++.\n· Strong understanding of object-oriented design, software architecture, design patterns, and clean-code principles.\n· Experience developing multithreaded applications and troubleshooting concurrency issues.\n· Experience with performance analysis, debugging, and optimization of complex software systems.\n· Experience with unit testing, code reviews, source control, and standard software development practices.\n· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to quality and detail.\n· Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.\nBonus Skills\n· Hands-on experience in embedded software, real-time systems, or hardware-integrated products.\n· Experience with hardware/software interfaces, device communication, drivers, or low-level system components.\n· Experience working in Windows development environments and with Visual Studio.\n· Experience with C# in desktop, tooling, or system-level applications.\n· Knowledge of operating-system concepts, networking, inter-process communication, or Windows internals.\n· Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern development workflows.\n· Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban.\n· Experience in medical devices, healthcare software, medical imaging, or regulated development environments.\n· Familiarity with medical standards or protocols such as DICOM or HL7.\nAbout GE HealthCare\nGE HealthCare is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator.
