Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world\nJob Description\nRoles and Responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have to:\nDefine and implement comprehensive test strategies for new features and enhancements.\nIdentify quality risks early and develop mitigation plans.\nEstimate testing effort and contribute to sprint and release planning activities.\nDesign, develop, maintain, and execute functional, integration, system, regression, and exploratory test cases.\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.\nMonitor test coverage, defect trends, and release readiness metrics.\nSupport production readiness and release validation activities.\nEnsure quality standards for test automation code.\nDevelop and execute performance, scalability, and reliability test scenarios.\n Mentor junior engineers on test design, automation, and quality best practices.\nParticipate actively in design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions.\nChampion a quality-first culture across the team.\nCollaborate effectively with global and cross-functional teams.\nAlign quality goals with business objectives and product strategy.\nEnsure scalability across multiple products and teams.\nBuild reusable test capabilities and frameworks.\nDrive CI/CD quality gates, observability, performance testing, security testing, and system validation.\nEnsure regulatory, compliance, safety, and cybersecurity requirements are met.\nDrive transformation initiatives such as AI-driven testing, shift-left quality etc..\nExposure to regulated domains such as Healthcare, Medical Devices would be considered as an advantage.\nQualifications / Essential skills\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related STEM discipline.\n5 - 8+ years of experience in software testing and quality engineering.\nStrong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and testing principles.\nExperience with test automation frameworks and tools.\nAbility to define test strategies, identify quality risks, and ensure comprehensive test coverage across the product lifecycle.\nExperience as Quality anchor for team, driving and coordinating all test-related activities including test planning, automation, execution, defect management, release validation, and quality metrics.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills\nTechnical expertise:\nStrong programming skills in at least one language such as TypeScript, JavaScript.\nExperience with API, UI, integration, and system testing.\nExperience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, JBehave, or similar frameworks.\nExperience with REST API testing and API automation using tools/frameworks such as Postman, REST Assured, Playwright, etc.\nExperience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins.\nWorking knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes and testing applications deployed in containerized environments.\nExperience in performance/load testing tools.\nKnowledge of healthcare/imaging standards such as DICOM is an advantage.\nInclusion and Diversity:\nGE Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
