The allocation may be adjusted temporarily based on program milestones, integration needs, and verification-readiness risk while maintaining meaningful contribution to both responsibilities.tex\nJob Description\nSoftware Development Responsibilities - approximately 50%\nDuties include (but are not limited to):\n· Working closely with senior engineers and architects to understand requirements and software development activities.\n· Implementation of software features based on design specifications and guidance\n· Contributing to development and maintenance of application software components.\n· Participating in testing and debugging software to ensure quality and reliability.\n· Collaborating with global teams to support consistent and reusable software development practices.\n· Troubleshooting and resolving software defects and performance issues.\n· Contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and software quality\nFeature Readiness Facilitation Responsibilities - approximately 50%\nDuties include (but are not limited to):\nOwn the operating cadence for the RFV checklist across assigned features, including kickoff, periodic reviews, closure reviews, and readiness reporting. \nFacilitate each feature owner’s commitment to applicable checklist items by confirming accountable owner, due date, completion criteria, planned deliverable, and evidence location. \nConvert unclear checklist entries into actionable follow-ups by coordinating with the appropriate functional lead while keeping accountability with the designated owner. \nMaintain an accurate status view for Completed, In Progress, Not Started, Blocked, and Not Applicable items; challenge unsupported N/A decisions and missing evidence. \nSend reminders, document decisions, track dependencies, and escalate overdue or high-risk items through the agreed program governance path. \nPrepare cross-functional readiness reviews and ensure decisions, actions, owners, and target dates are captured and followed through closure. \nPartner with Systems, V&V, Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, Documentation, DevOps, Program teams to coordinate required deliverables and evidence. \nProvide concise readiness summaries to engineering and program leadership, highlighting open decisions, blockers, aging actions, and risks to feature check-in or verification entry. \nIdentify recurring process gaps and propose improvements to checklist wording, completion criteria, templates, evidence storage, and dashboard visibility. \nQuality Specific Goals:\n· Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position\n· Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines\n· Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required\n· Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/Program Deliverables\n· Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.\n3-10 years of experience in software development\nBasic understanding of software development lifecycle and testing practices. \nBasic programming skills in one or more languages such as C++, C#.\nBasic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.\nBusiness-level English communication skills for global collaboration.\nDemonstrated ability to facilitate meetings, secure clear commitments, follow up persistently, and escalate issues professionally without removing accountability from owners\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related computer field\nExperience in application development using modern frameworks and development tools.\nExperience in medical-device software development or another regulated industry with formal Quality Management System requirements.\nExperience supporting RFV, design transfer, verification entry, release readiness, or similar phase-gate processes. \nFluent English communication skills (written and verbal)\nInclusion and Diversity\nGE Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
