Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world.\nJob Description\nRoles and Responsibilities\nIn this role, you will:\nDesign, develop, and maintain robust automated test cases across unit, integration, API, and end-to-end levels to ensure reliable and scalable quality validation.\n\nDefine and execute comprehensive test plans, including clearly articulated testing phases, strategies, and coverage goals.\n\nBuild, enhance, and support scalable test automation frameworks, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines used across multiple teams.\n\nApply testing best practices and principles to improve test effectiveness, efficiency, maintainability, and defect detection.\n\nImplement appropriate automation techniques-such as data-driven testing, pairwise testing, mocking, and test hooks-based on the problem space and system architecture.\n\nDesign and develop software with testability in mind, enabling high-quality deliverables at the lowest overall cost of ownership.\n\nMaintain high code quality through engineering best practices, thorough unit testing, and automated code quality and coverage tools.\n\nMake informed technology and tooling decisions through due diligence, experimentation, and impact analysis.\n\nDemonstrate expertise in writing clean, maintainable, and standards-compliant code that delivers the intended functionality using the selected technology stack.\n\nQualifications/Essential Requirements:\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.\n\n2 years of experience of Software development in a technical and analytical role.\n\nDemonstrates experience and ability to write Java code for the purposes of testing solution code (e.g., white-box testing).\n\nStrong knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns and Java coding principles\n\nExpert in automation Tool/framework/techniques (Behavioral Driven Development, Jbehave, Cucumber, selenium, Jmeter)\n\nHas experience with issue-tracking and agile project management systems\n\nHas experience working in Linux/Unix and Windows environments.\n\nHas experience working with virtual machines (VMs) as part of a test/integration infrastructure\n\nKnowledge of Healthcare domain & standards (HL7 , FHIR) is a big plus\n\nInclusion and Diversity\nGE Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
