Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.\nThe job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).\nJob Description\nResponsibilities\nLead and develop the Systems Design team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.\nProvide strategic and hands-on technical guidance in the development of RP products.\nBalance competing priorities and feedback from stakeholders to drive direction and maintain project momentum.\nFacilitate clear communication and decision-making across functional boundaries.\nMaintain a deep understanding of the full RP portfolio - cyclotrons, chemistry boxes and hot-cells.\nOversee engineering planning and execution to support project planning and execution, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.\nResource assignment and prioritization including headcount and budget management\nIntegrate Quality Management System Processes with effective functional engineering practices (e.g. : Six Sigma, Lean, Technical Design Review Rigor, System modeling, design standards & tools) for improved product quality and reliability.\nWorking with Product Management and Program Management to refine requirements Decision making in cross-disciplinary and architectural aspects.\nSupport Program Managers in execution of projects within time and schedule constraints.\nOversee system-level engineering activities including; Requirements handling, analysis, and traceability, - System architecture and design and Verification and validation planning and execution.\nEnsure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and internal quality systems.\nDrive continuous improvement in engineering processes and tools.\nSupport audits and regulatory inspections as a subject matter expert.\nRepresent the System Design section in global engineering forums and initiatives.\nQualifications\nMasters degree in Physics, Electrical Mechanical Engineering or other closely related fields \nIndependent Leader by Nature.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills \nSelf-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task\nDemonstrated problem solving ability and results orientation 15+ years experience in leading cross-disciplinary engineering teams in design and development of multi-disciplinary systems, of which 5+ years in direct people leadership.\nRequirements management and traceability tools and methodologies.\nVerification and validation processes.\nFluent in English; Swedish proficiency is a plus.\nDesired Qualifications\nRegulatory frameworks and standards including:\nISO 13485 (Medical Device QMS)\nISO/IEC 15288 (Systems Engineering Lifecycle)\nSwedish Work Environment Act (Arbetsmiljölagen)\nBackground in medical device development or radiopharmaceuticals or other areas with many regulatory requirements.\nProven LEAN skills Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing resources, timing and quality of outcomes\nInclusion and Diversity\nGE HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
