You will leverage ERP tools, data analysis, and inventory planning strategies to drive material availability, optimize inventory levels, and support on-time delivery performance.\nThis position is ideal for a detail-oriented supply chain professional who enjoys solving problems, managing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.\nJob Description\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and manage production and material plans to support manufacturing schedules and customer delivery commitments.\nCreate and execute purchasing plans, purchase orders, and supplier communications to ensure timely material availability.\nUtilize SAP and MRP planning tools to monitor demand, supply, inventory levels, and production requirements.\nCoordinate material flow between suppliers, receiving, inventory, and manufacturing operations.\nMonitor and maintain inventory levels, identifying opportunities to improve inventory turns while minimizing shortages and excess inventory.\nAnalyze planning and purchasing data to proactively identify supply risks, shortages, and schedule impacts.\nCollaborate with manufacturing, sourcing, quality, engineering, and logistics teams to resolve material and supply chain issues.\nSupport cycle counting, inventory accuracy initiatives, and materials management best practices.\nTrack and improve key performance indicators including on-time delivery, inventory health, supplier performance, and production attainment.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency, material availability, and operational performance.\nEscalate supply constraints and recommend mitigation plans to minimize disruption to production schedules.\nMaintain accurate planning parameters, supplier data, and ERP system records.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field; OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\nMinimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production planning, materials management, purchasing, or supply chain environment.\nExperience utilizing SAP or a similar ERP system to support procurement, inventory management, production planning, or materials planning activities.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, Pivot Tables, and lookup functions.\nExperience working with material requirements planning (MRP), inventory management, or production scheduling processes.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functional teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in a discrete manufacturing or industrial manufacturing environment.\nAPICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD).\nExperience supporting supplier performance management and procurement activities.\nKnowledge of inventory optimization, demand planning, and forecasting principles.\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Kaizen methodologies.\nExperience creating reports and dashboards using SAP, Power BI, or other business intelligence tools.\nDemonstrated ability to drive process improvements that improve material availability, delivery performance, or inventory efficiency.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nMaterials are available to support production schedules with minimal shortages or disruptions.\nPurchase orders and supplier commitments are managed proactively to support customer demand.\nInventory levels are optimized while maintaining production continuity.\nPlanning data is accurate, actionable, and drives informed decision-making.\nCross-functional partnerships help resolve issues quickly and improve overall operational performance.\nFor candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the base pay for this position is $35.00.\nAdditional Information\nGE Vernova offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
