The successful candidate will be part of highly motivated, dynamic, and growing team of engineers working on the design of HVDC Control Systems. This is a very exciting and dynamic field of control engineering in which GE’s leading contribution has worldwide recognition.\nThe Product Care function maintains Control and Protection application software, platform, valve electronics, handling obsolescence and implementing a life cycle process for the parts included, including what and when to communicate to customers, internal as well as external.\nResponsibilities:\nResponsible for overall requirements, design, implementation and testing of HVDC Control and Protection application software.\nWork as part of an expert team, giving ample opportunity for learning design and development skills highly relevant for working with any control and protection system; in particular, power electronics systems and grid technology.\nExecute the analysis, simulation, test, and integration required to define, and support assigned components, modules or systems that meet business standards.\nApply prior experience and on the job training to solve problems.
