Essential elements and characteristics of the Corrective Action Program are delineated in the INPO document, “Principles for Effective Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Programs”, December 1999 and further reinforced in INPO 05-005, INPO 07-007, and Technical Report NEI 16-07.\nEssential Responsibilities\nLead cross-functional reviews for screening and assignment of identified conditions and trending of data.\nPerform Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) \nPerform Nonconformance Assessments (NCAs)\nPerform condition report closure reviews\nPerform trending focused on identifying inter-departmental and cross-functional trends.\nSupport CAP system improvement projects as needed to support the most efficient and effective process. (Gensuite & DevonWay)\nServe as CAP System Administrator for general role access\nManage and monitor CAP training assignments for nuclear employees and contractors as required (General CAP Oversight, RM training, CRG, CAP Leadership Oversight Group, and CARB)\nMinimum Qualifications\n4 year degree from an accredited university. \nFive or more years of experience working in the nuclear industry, or other highly regulated industry.\n1 year of experience working with power industry corrective action programs\nEligibility Requirements\nAbility to operate a computer\nDesired Qualifications\nB.S. in Engineering or a related technical field\nUnderstanding of nuclear safety culture traits as defined by the NRC and INPO 12-012. \nFamiliarity with nuclear regulatory environments and safety culture expectations. Strong commitment to nuclear safety culture and quality excellence.\nProven leadership or influencing experience in a matrixed environment\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skills\nAbility to challenge non-compliance constructively and professionally\nFamiliarity with cause analysis tools such as TapRoot\nThis position requires U.S. work authorization.
