They may interact w/ functional leaders to support these technical initiatives.\nJob Description\nRoles and Responsibilities\nArchitecture & Roadmap Development\n· Participate in domain technical and business discussions related to future\narchitecture direction for ICS/OT environments. \n· Assist in the analysis, design, and development of secure infrastructure roadmaps,\nensuring alignment between current and future state architectures. \n· Gather and analyze data to define architectural requirements at the project level. \n· Enforce the ICS/OT security architecture governance model and ensure adherence\nto standards across project delivery. \n· Design and deploy secure ICS and IT/OT infrastructure solutions, ensuring\ncompliance with IEC 62443, NERC CIP, and ISO27001/27002 standards. \n· Research and evaluate emerging ICS/OT cybersecurity technologies and threat\nintelligence to enhance project outcomes. \n· Coach and mentor project teams and customer stakeholders on ICS cybersecurity\nbest practices. \nCybersecurity in Project Implementation\n· Act as a technical authority in the design and deployment of project infrastructure\nsupporting ICS/OT systems (network segmentation, secure remote access,\nvirtualization, backups, monitoring). \n· Integrate and configure ICS/OT security tools (firewalls, intrusion detection, asset\ninventory, anomaly detection) into customer environments. \n· Conduct vulnerability assessments, compliance checks, and security hardening\nactivities within the scope of project delivery. \n· Ensure all project activities are carried out in compliance with ICS-relevant\nstandards (ISO9001, ISO27001, IEC 62443) and company processes. \n· Translate business and operational requirements into secure technical solutions\nthat strengthen cyber resilience for customer environments.\n Required Qualifications\n· Bachelor’s Degree with significant professional experience. \n· Proven experience in ICS/OT cybersecurity engineering and implementation\nprojects. \n· Familiarity with applying ICS security frameworks (IEC 62443, NIST CSF, NERC CIP)\nin projects. \n· System administration: Windows - core competency to install, configure, manage. \n· Linux administration and security expertise. \n· Network hardware: Cisco enterprise and industrial switches, VLAN, ACL, routing,\nVPN, and network segmentation for ICS environments. \n· Security management: Enterprise firewalls (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or\nequivalent) - design, configure, deploy, with emphasis on OT perimeter defense and\nsecure remote access. \n· Windows / Active Directory Services - install, configure, manage. \n· Virtualization: VMware vSphere clusters, with experience in HA, DRS, and backup\nAPIs. \n· Storage: Shared NAS/SAN network storage (HP 3PAR/MSA/EVA, EMC DataDomain). \n· Backup Technologies (NetBackup, BackupExec, Veeam, Networker). \n· Knowledge of anti-virus implementations (McAfee EPO, Bitdefender, Microsoft\nForefront, etc.). \n· Experience with IPAMs and password management solutions. \n· Experience with monitoring, logging, and SIEM tools (Nagios, Graylog, Splunk,\nClaroty, Nozomi, Dragos). \n· Strong cybersecurity foundation with demonstrated OT project delivery experience.\n Desired Characteristics\n· Experience in support/incident management (L1/L2/L3) for ICS/OT security tools,\nincident response, and vulnerability remediation. \n· Willingness to travel abroad for on-site project delivery (up to 50% of the time or\nmore). \n· Fluent in English. \n· Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge or experience. \n· Proven track record of problem analysis, identification, and resolution. \n· Excellent communication skills, discipline, accountability, and flexibility in a\nproject-driven environment. \n· Strong understanding of ITIL and change management policies and procedures. \n· Hands-on experience in technical roles within critical infrastructure or industrial\nenvironments. \n· Understanding of architecture standards concepts and ability to apply them to\nproject work .\nWhy join our team:\nGE Vernova is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, committed to the continuous improvement and the wellbeing of its employee.
