Join us and contribute to the future of energy!Job Description\nAbout the Team\nThe Design Liaison Engineering (DLE) team is part of the Gas Turbine Engineering (GTE) organization and provides design support to global supply chain partners. The team plays a critical role in ensuring technical rigor, product quality, and timely customer fulfillment.\nAbout the Role\nAs a DLE Engineering Intern, you will support the design and manufacturing of gas turbine flow path hardware, including blades, vanes, heat shields, and linkage assemblies. You will help resolve hardware deviations, support supplier qualifications, contribute to design improvements, and work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to improve product quality and manufacturability.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAnalyze and help resolve non-conforming hardware using engineering tools and methods\nSupport redesign efforts through engineering drawing updates\nAssist with qualification of hardware for second-source suppliers and process or design changes\nParticipate in technical reviews and risk assessments at component and assembly level\nFollow established engineering standards, templates, and standard work\nContribute to improvements in manufacturability, quality, and cost\nCollaborate across engineering and global supply chain to support hardware delivery\nIdeal Candidate Profile\nEducation: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field at a University in Switzerland\nTechnical Skills:Strong knowledge of mechanical design fundamentals, including stress, fatigue, creep, materials, tolerancing, and design for manufacturability\nUnderstanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) with ability to interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials\nFamiliarity with manufacturing processes such as forging, casting, machining, coatings, inspection, and fixturing\nKnowledge of gas turbine hardware or similar rotating machinery\nExperience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools (e.g., Ansys) and 3D CAD (e.g., NX)\nProficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.\n\nSoft Skills:Strong organizational and communication skills\nAbility to collaborate in a cross functional global organization\nHumble,
