We continuously challenge our thinking and are empowered to dream big and take smart risks.\nWhat impact you'll make\nAs a member of the Grid Engineering team, you will be an active contributor to the accuracy, traceability, and quality of project documentation across HV/MV/LV substation solutions - helping ensure our engineering deliverables meet client, regulatory, and internal standards from design through project closure.\nJob Description\nWhat you'll do\nReview technical specifications for primary HV/MV/LV equipment and support the development of electrical substation solutions using software tools.\nUpdate technical documentation based on client feedback and project requirements, and maintain the document control log/matrix.\nManage the full lifecycle of project documentation within the Document Management System (DMS), including document/drawing lists, revision control, traceability, and transaction records.\nCoordinate with clients, partners, and subcontractors to track document deliverables, ensuring compliance with established document management procedures.\nSupport the Lead Document Controller in defining, deploying, and improving the Document Management process, including preparing project procedures and templates.\nAssist in organizing and delivering DMS training to end-users and provide functional support to the project team.\nSupport site document management, including registering mark-ups/as-built documentation per the Site Manager's instructions and collaborating with the O&M Coordinator on storage and archiving.\nVerify document data attributes and quality against project requirements, working with subcontractors and partners on corrective actions.\nComply with EHS standards, integrity and compliance guidelines, the Grid Engineering Management Handbook (EMH), the Grid Project Management Handbook (PMH), and GE Vernova work instructions.\nWhat you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)\nActive student in the from 6th to final semesters of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Civil Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related/similar field (Civil or Execution level).\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, with an intermediate level in Excel.\nBasic knowledge of AutoCAD and Adobe Acrobat Professional.\nBasic-intermediate English level (able to hold conversations, read/write emails and procedures).\nWhat will make you stand out\nYou have a passion for quality, structure, and organization, with strong attention to detail.\nYou are someone who brings initiative, resilience, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables in dynamic environments.\nYou have experience (internships/teaching assistant roles) in document control or substation/electrical industry projects.\nYou have practical knowledge of a Document Management System (DMS) and can conduct user training or standardize templates/procedures.\nYou have advanced English and/or Portuguese skills.\nAdditional Notes\nThis is an on-site/hybrid internship supporting Grid Engineering project teams (adjust based on actual work arrangement).\nBenefits Available to You\nGE Vernova employees rise to the challenge of building a world that works.
