Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.\nAs the successful candidate, you will have experience in:\nEMC and EMI environment\nPCB Design, layout and worked with High layer boards\nHV, Digital and Analogue\nWorking on industrial products (Power Generation / utilities, Automotive, Aerospace etc)\nJob Description\nSuccessful Candidate Overview:\nDemonstrated knowledge and understanding of electronic components & principles.\nAn ability to think innovatively and apply engineering knowledge.\nHave an enquiring mind and desire to learn new skills, an ability to apply different engineering methods and a willingness to share knowledge are essential qualities. \nExperience Required:\nDigital electronic circuit design and development.\nAnalogue electronic circuit design and development.\nKnowledge of schematic capture supervision.\nPCB layout supervision including rules & constraints.\nElectronic component selection, analysis, and qualification testing.\nKnowledge of component level design error analysis & testing.\nAn awareness of Controllership and ROHS / REACH compliance.\nExperience of FPGA component selection.\nProduct verification (bench testing) and validation (integration testing) testing.\nExperience of type testing - EMC, Environmental, Halt.\nElectronic design for EMC\nPCB interactions within power electronics systems.\nDesign for manufacture (DFM), test (DFT), industrialisation & design to cost.\nPractical electronic bench testing experience. \nEducation\nThe candidate should ideally have electronics expertise at Batchelor's graduate level or equivalent experience, but most importantly will have a good level of the technical understanding of digital, and where possible analogue electronic design for an industrial control system\nAbout Us:\nGE Vernova is a world leader in the energy solutions market with a portfolio of energy businesses across the globe.
