The role will work with Operations, Engineering, Materials, Planning, and other supporting teams to identify and close gaps that could impact engine assembly or production.Job Description\nRoles and Responsibilities\nPerform an engine scrub before the engine leaves Engine Disassembly.\nReview the engine work scope and confirm required SBs and configuration changes are captured.\nVerify required material demands and R-BOM requirements are in place.\nReview applicable routings, inspection findings, and engine records for missing or conflicting information.\nIdentify gaps that could impact Material’s department, Engine assembly, material availability, or schedule.\nProactively escalate high-risk material or configuration gaps to leadership when resolution timelines threaten the production schedule.\nWork with the appropriate teams to get identified gaps corrected or assigned for action.\nTrack open items and communicate engine readiness status before release from Engine Disassembly.\nTemporarily support the scrub of engines already in Material’s and Engine Assembly WIP to identify anything that may have been missing and could impact production.\nTrack and categorize issues identified during engine scrubs.\nPeriodically provide a Pareto of identified misses to highlight recurring issues and improvement opportunities.\nSupport improvements to the engine scrub process based on lessons learned and recurring gaps.\nAbility to communicate and work effectively across Operations, Engineering, Materials, Planning, and other supporting functions.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED and 5+ years’ Experience working in the gas turbine industry.\n2+ years of experience with work scope, planning or scheduling.\n2+ years of experience with updating engine work scope, Service Bulletins, R-BOM, and/or material requirements.\n2+ years of experience working with technical documentation, routings, work instructions, or engine records.\nExperience with ARMS, DT, WMS, ERP, MES or similar production/shop management systems.\nDesired Characteristics\nBasic proficiency with Microsoft Excel.\nThis role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
