The engineer will ensure technical excellence, safety, and performance of mechanical components through advanced analysis, innovative design, and continuous improvement.Job Description\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign and analyze mechanical components throughout the gas power product portfolio.\nPerform thermal, stress, and modal analysis of components within the gas turbine, steam, generator, aeroderivative, and powerplant accessory space.\nConduct testing and validation of new and existing designs and analyze post-test data.\nCreate design documentation, including drawings, layouts, and diagrams.\nSupport engineering focal for new Qualifications supporting GEV and supplier production.\nSupport root cause analysis (RCA) and develop corrective actions (CAPA) to improve product reliability, quality, and performance.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs.\nTake technical ownership of mechanical hardware and apply mechanical principles.\nWork within teams for project execution and process improvement.\nDevelop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders ie.
