Job Description Summary GE Vernova is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager, Verification and Validation to join our FACTS STATCOM team in Saratoga Springs, NY. This role will lead the verification and validation function for advanced control systems used in high-power reactive compensation applications, including STATCOM and SVC systems.The position combines people leadership, technical oversight, laboratory ownership, and project execution. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in verification and validation of power system controls, real-time testing, and team leadership, along with the ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional stakeholders. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Lead the operation and continuous improvement of the RTDS laboratory, including test automation, tool enhancements, process development and long-term capability development Manage and develop the local STATCOM engineering team, including work planning, prioritization, coaching, mentoring, and performance management Own verification and validation scope on projects, including deliverables, schedules, technical interfaces, and compliance with customer requirements
