Working under the guidance of the operations team, you will follow established procedures, technical instructions, and safety standards while taking ownership of the quality and timely completion of your work.Job Description\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform on-site installation, Commissioning, refurbishment, Startup, Maintenance,\nTrouble Shooting & Upgrading of synchronous and induction machines or excitation & AVR systems or variable speed drives systems .\nRespond to requests for emergency repairs and services.\nProvide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair and maintenance at customer's sites .\nWriting technical reports, ordering materials, securing quotations, preparing job status reports, reports to customers, time sheet and expense sheets on a complete timely, and thorough basis.\nProvide leadership and technical direction to skilled labor performing work on customer sites. \nMaintain strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within GE safety standards. \nPrepare timely and accurate technical reports for customer records and a reference for future outages\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university \nNew grad or Maximum 2 years experience in field services\nAbility and willingness to travel approximately 80% of the time, as required \nAbility and willingness to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license \nAbility and willingness to work remotely; as required\nThe legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction\nDesired Characteristics\nAbility to work effectively with minimum supervision \nStrong customer service mindset \nPrior field engineering experience \nStrong organizational skills \nPrior project management experience \nStrong project management skills \nStrong oral and written communication skills \nAdditional Information\nRelocation Assistance Provided: No\nCandidates should be aware that this role involves a client's critical infrastructure; shortlisted candidates would therefore be subject to heightened security checks as directed by our clients.
