The ideal candidate will have experience using a variety of tools and torque wrenches in an assembly environment. Attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential for this role.\nJob Description\nSchedule: Monday- Friday working 7-3:30pm\nAssemble instrument transformers according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.\nUtilize hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches to complete assembly tasks.\nEnsure all components are properly aligned, calibrated, and installed according to quality standards.\nConduct inspections and tests to verify conformance with specifications and quality requirements.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.\nCollaborate with team members and other departments to achieve production goals and resolve any assembly issues.\nFollow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.\nQAULIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in mechanical assembly is preferred.\nProven experience as a general assembler or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.\nProficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy in assembly work.\nGood communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.\nBasic computer skills for data entry and accessing work instructions.\nDESIRED CHARACTERISTICS\nPrevious experience specifically in assembling instrument transformers or similar electrical equipment.\nFamiliarity with quality control processes and procedures.\nAbility to troubleshoot assembly issues and make adjustments as necessary.\nPHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS\nAbility to lift and maneuver heavy components and equipment.\nComfortable standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.\nFor candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the base pay for this position is $24/hr.\nAdditional Information\nGE Vernova offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
