The role covers engineering support for tooling and process development, process qualification, process implementation and engineering documentation. Additionally, the RTE will provide daily production support to ongoing projects in the workshop.\nThis role will require you to collaborate with both Global Repair Engineering network and Core Service ITR region engineering teams. This is a great opportunity for an engineer to take their career to the next level.\nJob Description\nSuccess in this role looks like:\nEstablish yourself as a key team member by demonstrating high quality technical support to local manufacturing and global repair network operational teams.\nWho You Are:\nAn accountable engineer, who looks to drive lean innovation and serve our customer with focus,\nSelf-starter with initiative and interpersonal skills to direct projects and work, of cross- functional nature, with demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion.\nFocused on Safety, Quality, Cost and On-time delivery.\nRoles and Responsibilities:\nProvide support to the Bucharest shop activities with Repair Instructions, Inspection & Test plans, Bills of Materials (BOM), supporting tooling design and provision, new process implementation and support for existing processes.\nDevelop expertise in generator component repair, processes, tooling, and testing.\nProvide support to the development and improvement of existing generator maintenance, and repair processes and procedures.\nSupport Lean manufacturing through cost reduction, cycle reduction, and product quality enhancement projects.\nAuthor or contribute to the development of Repair Instructions / work instructions / standards and design practices associated with this technology area. Highlight lessons learned and make repair practices / design standards changes or other appropriate changes in practices to prevent reoccurrence.\nParticipate in Root Cause Analysis\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline or related subject from an accredited college or university, or equivalent proven relatable professional experience.\nFluent in Romanian Language\nHas current Romanian work permit.\nDesired Characteristics:\nTeam player with exceptional influence and interpersonal skills\nExperience of manufacturing/workshop processes.\nHas contributed to the solving of significant technical problems in workshop processes\nFocused on Quality, Cost, On-time, and On-budget Performance\nMetric focused and excellent communication and presentation capability\nStrong process discipline with sound analytic skills\nStrong Customer Service Mindset\nCreative and innovative mindset\nGE is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
