He/she will also be responsible to provide technical support to design engineers, supply chain and site installation teams related to generator winding topics.Job Description\nKey responsibilities/essential functions include:\n- Deliver design work packages for generator windings using technical guidelines and reference projects\n- Provide technical support to factories, supply chain and site teams on winding topics and insulation systems during the entire lifecycle of the projects.\n- Lead cost reduction and improvement actions related to generator windings.\n- Participate to validation of winding design tools updates.\n- Participate to design review meetings with other engineers, functions and consulting Engineers.\n- Support other engineers on topics related to generator winding design, testing specifications and customer discussions.\nRequired Qualifications:\n- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited university or college.\n- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hydro generator winding design and insulation systems.\nPreferred Qualifications/Characteristics:\n- Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-locational environment;\n- Ability to travel\n- Knowledge of CAD tools\n- Bilingual (French and English)\n- Good analytical skills\n- Team player, positive, willingness to learn & adapt to business needs\n- Pro-activeness, sense of urgency, autonomy.\n- Established communication and leadership skills;\nAdditional Information\nGE Vernova offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
