This role leads customer-facing software solution projects from initiation through acceptance and transition, coordinating customers, delivery teams, partners, and supporting functions. The Project Manager owns delivery across scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, governance, customer value, and project financial health.\nJob Description\nEssential Responsibilities\nLead customer-facing Grid Software projects from initiation through final acceptance and transition to support.\nServe as the primary delivery contact for customers, building trusted relationships and aligning stakeholders around project objectives and outcomes.\nManage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, issues, and change requests to achieve contractual and business commitments.\nDevelop and maintain integrated project plans, ensuring milestones, dependencies, resource needs, and customer obligations are proactively managed.\nDrive project financial performance, including forecasting, margin management, billing readiness, and cash flow optimization.\nLead cross-functional, matrixed teams across software development, engineering, product management, cybersecurity, quality, services, and partner organizations.\nEstablish effective governance, provide executive-level project reporting, and facilitate timely decision-making and issue resolution.\nEnsure successful testing, customer acceptance, deployment, and transition activities while maintaining a strong focus on quality and customer value.\nApply Lean, Agile, and continuous improvement principles to enhance project execution, delivery efficiency, and customer outcomes.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n10+ years of project or program management experience leading customer-facing software, technology, systems integration, or digital solution implementations.\n5+ years of experience managing multiple project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, governance, and executive stakeholder communications.\nExperience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders in complex, matrixed environments.\nStrong communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and traditional project delivery methodologies.\nDesired Qualifications\nPMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster, or equivalent project management certification.\nMaster's degree in a related discipline.\nExperience delivering software solutions within the electric utility, energy, or critical infrastructure industries.\nKnowledge of utility operations and grid applications such as SCADA, EMS, ADMS, OMS, or related technologies.\nExperience managing customer contracts, change orders, commercial terms, and financial performance.\nExperience with large-scale enterprise software implementations or systems integration projects.\nExperience leading global or geographically distributed project teams.\nProficiency with project planning, collaboration, reporting, and financial management tools.\nDemonstrated success driving customer adoption, operational outcomes, and long-term customer relationships.\nAdditional Information\nGE Vernova offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
