This role will also play a critical part in technical positioning, pre-sales qualification, and cross-functional enablement.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions using key offerings - including Zonal Autonomous Control, Distribution Automation, Conventional PACS, Integrated Digital Process Bus Substations, EnergyAPM, Device Management, Cyber security, Top-Down Engineering Solutions and Virtualization\nJob Description\nRoles and Responsibilities\nSolution Architecture Development:Design comprehensive scalable, and interoperable solutions to meet customer needs, including integrated digital substations, centralized and distributed architecture incorporating hardware, software, and communication interfaces.\nDesign & Ensure solutions are cyber-resilience, customer compliant, and budget optimized.\nDevelop, standardised and maintain solution blueprints and architectures.\n\n Solution Differentiation & Value CreationCreate solution’s differentiators aligned with market and addressing customer pain points.\nCollect Technical Gaps and business case under AIRFOCUS\nDemonstrate value propositions through technical performance, total cost of ownership (TCO), and system-wide benefits.\nLead proof-of-concept (PoC), Demos, Workshops and pilot project initiatives to showcase solution feasibility and benefits.\n\nPre-Sales, Proposal & Customer Engagement:Lead and support SPEC-In activities with technical specifications write up/guides to position GE Vernova solutions in customer tenders and technical specifications.\nSupport the sales function through reviewing RFQ, Writing and review technical proposals, including value proposition, architecture, and division of responsibilities.\nQualify the assigned opportunities with end users and actively contribute to pursuit the strategy.\nCultivate strong customer relationships and stay ahead of emerging growth opportunities across relevant market segments\n\nStakeholder Engagement & EnablementLead or participate in customer workshops, solution co-creation sessions, and deep-dive technical discussions.\nConduct internal and external technical trainings to upskill sales teams, partners, and end-users on solution capabilities.\nSupport marketing, bid, tendering teams and TAE with accurate technical inputs, diagrams, and narratives.\nCoordinate standardisation of Solutions over the region by Segment & Portfolio\nResponsible for reporting and influencing the overall regional solutions strategy to the product management team\nundefined\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in electrical engineering and/or Communications or a related field.10+ years of experience in utility grid operations, Substation Automation, smart grid technologies, or related domains.Strong background as a Solution Architect or Application Engineer for large-scale grid modernization projects.Deep understanding of digital substations, IEC standards & protocols, transmission & Distribution automation segment & solutions, Virtualization and predictive analytics.Knowledge and expertise in power management systems, load shedding / islanding schemes, distribution automation, microgrids and special protection schemes and/or remedial action schemes for grids and plants\n\nDesired Characteristics\nExperience with GE Vernova, Grid Solutions, or similar platforms is highly desirable.Familiarity with cloud-based solutions, digital twins, and edge computing is a plus.Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Relevant industry certifications (e.g. GIAC, ISA/IEC 62443/27001) and understanding of Security Framework and standards (NIST, NERC-CIP, NESA, IEC 62351).Understand the latest solution trends for energy transition including wide area monitoring, Centralized / Virtualized Protection & Control solution, Solution Virtualization, Security landscapeStay ahead of industry trends in Integrated Digital Substation, SCADA, IEC 61850, Cyber Security and software-defined tool suite to continuously improve solution offerings. \n\nPersonal Qualities:\nAbility to multi-task in fast-paced multi-cultural environmentsStrong Team player with impressive interpersonal skills is accessible and approachable.Understands business objectives, has commercial awareness and can influence stakeholders to meet objectives.Curious, asks pertinent questions and challenges the status quo - searches for and drives improvement.Align with business strategy and communicate effectively in an open and consistent manner.Anticipates customer needs and measures processes and performance through the customer’s eyes.Builds trust and commitment and can energize teams through inclusiveness and connection with people.Excellent communication, presentation, influential skills and breed positive morale within the team.
