This role requires the ability to provide expert technical solutions to manufacturing, supply chain, and client stakeholdersJob Description\nRoles and Responsibilities\nExecute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. This work would include mechanical engineering for Hydro Generators and systems.\nHas knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others COEs/systems like Turbine, Auxiliaries and BOP.\nDo analytical design calculations, Prepare Basic design layouts, 3 D models and drawings. Review drawings and BOM. Conduct cross-functional and internal design reviews.\nProvide technical support and solution to supply chain, manufacturing and site installation teams.\nActs as a mentor for colleagues with less experience. Lead projects with complex contractual requirements. Discuss technical solution with client.\nRequired Qualifications\nThis role requires advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Mechanical Component. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.\nminimum 8 years of overall experience in product design and min. 5 years of experience in Generator or Rotating electrical machine design.\nProficient in Autocad and any 3D modelling software.\nDesired Characteristics\nStrong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
