This role requires a balance of technical ownership, innovative problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous improvement.\nJob Description\nRoles and Responsibilities\nResponsibility for a given structural gas turbine component in mechanical terms, mechanical design, model and drawing definitions, production of parts, solving problems of new units, adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.\nParticipation in the continuous improvement of design structural parts as well as the design process.\nLeveraging knowledge of technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to recommend and execute, with guidance, the approach to meet the technical and NPIs programs requirements\nEnsuring proper documentation of technical data generated to substantiate analyzed components, assemblies and/or systems consistent with engineering policies and procedures.\nParticipation as a presenter in technical program reviews.\nImplementing plans to achieve technical requirements, prepare schedules, coordinate teams providing sub-analyses.\nPlanning the scope of activities in the assigned area, monitoring and effectively communicating projects status, issues and significant developments.\nUsing multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.\nUnderstanding the impact of the work performed on the company's goals.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited university or college in Mechanical Engineering subject, or similar (Mechanical, Aeronautical Engineering, Power Engineering..).\nThis role requires min 3 Y experience in the Engineering/Technology & GT Mechanical Component\nProven technical and problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously\nExperience with Jet/Aeroderivative Gas Turbine\nExperience with commercial CAD/CAE package required (ANSYS, NX)\nGeneral knowledge of the GT engine architecture is required\nMust be independent engineer that executes with minimum guidance\nFluent level of written and spoken English language\nDesired Characteristics\nDemonstrated ability to
