budget.\nJob Description\nEssential Responsibilities\nPerform power system studies using ETAP / DIgSILENT PowerFactory / PSCAD.\nDevelop, validate, and maintain electrical network models for transmission, distribution, and industrial power systems.\nAnalyze grid performance, reliability, and operational behavior under normal and fault conditions.\nEvaluate system compliance with grid codes, utility standards, and project specifications.\nSupport renewable integration studies for solar, wind, BESS, and hybrid systems.\nPerform relay setting calculations and validate protection schemes.\nStudy voltage stability, frequency response, and network disturbances.\nPrepare technical recommendations for system improvement and optimization.\nSupport Business Verticals in creating and reviewing (in conjunction with the leadership team) systems solutions as part of the OTR process, ensuring that solutions are technically fit for purpose and that technical risk is understood and managed with contingencies identified\nLead project execution - Analyze customer's contract, prepare specifications and reports \nReview solutions developed and identify opportunities for improvement of process, system, or equipment\nEnsure strict compliance with all company and customers’ EHS policies and procedures\nIdentify and propose improvements in processes, tools, system solutions and technologies, rolling out improvements when agreed with leadership team\nFoster relationship with other GEV business entities to maximize the benefits of synergies\nLiaise with Platform Engineering, Technology and Value Engineering, and Supply Chain as appropriate to support the project and business\nDrive lean mind set to provide optimum technical solutions for the projects\nQualifications / Requirements\nMasters / Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from reputed College / University\nMinimum of 8+ years’ experience in Power Systems analysis / System engineering projects for Industry /Marine / Oil & Gas / Power domains\nStrong knowledge of power system analysis and electrical engineering fundamentals\nHands-on experience with ETAP / DIgSILENT PowerFactory / PSCAD\nUnderstanding of protection systems and grid interconnection requirements\nFamiliarity with relevant standards such as IEC, IEEE, utility/grid codes\nKnowledge of Python, DPL, or other scripting tools is often an advantage\nAbility to interpret SLDs, relay coordination data, and equipment parameters\nAbility to adapt and multitask with project / application engineers\nAnalytical and innovative approach in problem solving\nProficiency in MS Office applications\nPLM, Primavera experience are added advantages\nDesired Characteristics\nLead a team in matrix environment for successful
