Blends technical rigor with practical judgment, driven by an unwavering curiosity to learn and innovate every day.\nJob Responsibilities\n\nPreparation of transformer detailed engineering design (including necessary calculations) and drawings (preferably 400kV and above, with HVDC / offshore experience), ability to carry out / review Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and specify parameters critical to quality (CTQ) and Design Failure Mode Effects and Analysis (FMEA)\nReview of specifications, identification of clarifications/deviations and action plans, with the ability to lead them to conclusion\nSelection and specification of components for ordering and manufacturing\nKey Performance Indicators of on-time delivery, right first time and budget adherence\nLeading communication/co-ordination with internal and external stakeholders (customers, suppliers, other departments such as projects, tendering, manufacturing, quality, procurement, etc).\nEducation And Experience\n\nElectrical or mechanical engineer or person with similar experience (in Power Transformers)\nExperience of working on 3D, 2D tools (Inventor/ equivalent, Autocad)\nExperience of Document management system (WindChill / equivalent)\nTransformer design knowledge (especially transformer design calculations, active part design including lead exits, insulation, windings, nesting of coils and tank design)\nKnowledge of IEC60076.
