Your ideas will show up on the shop floor, in the tools people use, and in the processes that keep production running smoothly.\nWhat You'll Do\nParticipate in lean manufacturing activities including 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain), Daily Management, Kaizen (continuous improvement) events, and Standard Work development.\nDesign and build racks, carts, and workstations in the moonshine shop (an on-site space where team members prototype and test improvement ideas).\nSupport continuous improvement projects from start to finish, staying on track with timelines.\nWork alongside team members across the production floor to identify and solve problems.\nCommunicate clearly and openly with your team and other departments about project status and progress.\nSchedule:\nMonday- Friday working 8 hour shifts between the hours of 7am-4:30pm\nWhat You Bring\nYou are someone who takes ownership of your work, communicates openly, and genuinely enjoys finding better ways to get things done.\nRequired:\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent\nAt least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment\nBasic computer skills, including Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, and PowerPoint\nAbility to work independently and manage your time well to meet project deadlines\nComfortable working as part of a team and taking direction\nPreferred:\nExperience with lean manufacturing methods (5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, Daily Management)\nInterest in process improvement and building physical prototypes or workstation designs\nPhysical Requirements\nThis is a hands-on role. You'll regularly walk the production floor, use your hands to build and design, lift up to 35 pounds on occasion, and use a computer for design and communication tasks.
