This role ensures all electrical components operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.\nJob Description\nSchedule: Monday- Friday working 7am-3:30pm\nKey Responsibilities\nInstall, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment \nDiagnose electrical issues using testing devices such as voltmeters, multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Etc. \nPerform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery \nRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams\nEnsure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes \nRespond promptly to electrical emergencies and system failures \nInspect electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and panelboards, and MCC’s\nCollaborate with maintenance and operations teams to support facility needs \nMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentation \nFollow all safety procedures and regulations\nPerform other mechanical / plumbing maintenance tasks as needed. \nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred \nValid electrician license or certification (as required by local regulations) \nMinimum 5 years experience as an electrician in an industrial, commercial, or facility setting \nStrong knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and power tools \nAbility to read technical documents and drawings \nFamiliarity with safety standards and electrical codes (e.g., NEC) \nGood problem-solving and troubleshooting skills \nWork Environment\nIndustrial or commercial facility setting \nMay require shift work, weekends, or on-call availability\nFor candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the base pay for this position is $32-45/hr.\nAdditional Information\nGE Vernova offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
