You will partner with organizational leadership to drive product and process improvements that deliver lead time and inventory reductions supporting customer delivery.Job Description\nEssential Responsibilities:\nAs the Materials Lean Leader you will:\nDevelop and execute the lean roadmap for the materials organization, ensuring alignment and synergy between internal materials planning and operations.\nCollaborate with planners to integrate them into the Pull/replenishment systems, fostering seamless supply chain operations and alignment with internal processes.\nFacilitate regular communication and feedback loops between the internal factory and external suppliers to ensure consistent application of lean principles.\nOwn priorities for parts on pull and schedule attainment aligned with business targets\nResponsible for continuous improvement plans for materials lean systems including VSMs\nCoach teams from front line to executives on lean materials systems\nPlan and deliver projects & initiatives aligned to the roadmap\nAccountable for daily management and problem solving to keep team on target \n Qualifications/Requirements:\nBachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma /GED with at least 10 years of experience in Manufacturing)\nMinimum of 5 additional years in Lean and/or Materials \nDesired Characteristics:\nProven ability to collaborate with external partners and integrate them into existing systems to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage relationships\nChange agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization \nLean Materials experience including but not limited to: standard work, material presentation, supermarkets, flow, pull, waterspider routes, heijunka, and kanban\nKnowledge of the disciplines of manufacturing and inventory management\nDemonstrated commitment for process improvement\nSix Sigma Green / Black belt certification or equivalent quality certification \nAdditional Information\nRelocation Assistance Provided: No\n#LI-Remote -
