As a result, we have become more of a services organization.\nWe believe our success in large part will depend on us being as diverse of a team as our customers and regardless of our role, every one of us can contribute to making Steam Power the service provider of choice by customers around the globe.\nThe Methods Engineer reports to the Cell Leader and is responsible for technical support including the preparation & maintenance of repair routers and local methods, for the technical offer, technical support and launch, MOP & MPP, manufacturing procedures, parts and materials lists and ITP\nMPP - Manufacturing Process Plan\nMOP - Manufacturing Range (Manufacturing Operational Plan);\nBOM - Material list;\nITP - Technical Inspection Plan\nWill work in direct collaboration with the Tendering department to provide technical offer aligned with quality and financial objectives.\nJob Description\nMain responsibilities:\nThe Methods Engineer plans and implements production process design, based on GE documentation\nProvides technical support in creating and/or modifying process specifications, technological sheets, times per each operation phase\nInvolved in new product launch\nManage and control technical documents within area of responsibility in accordance with GE procedures.\nConduct operator training on new/updated processes as needed\nSupport root cause investigations and the implementation of CAPA effectiveness.\nAssist/Guide Quality inspector for engineering repair evaluation\nMaintain accurate cost estimates in SAP\nCollaborate, support and communicate with Project Management, Engineering, Sourcing in order to improve existing processes\nJob Specification:\nGE is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
