do:\nServe as the principal interface between the project organization and Algerian government authorities at national, regional, and local levels.\nBuild and maintain strong, professional relationships with ministries, regulatory bodies, customs, ports, municipalities, utilities, labour/immigration authorities, and other relevant government stakeholders.\nOwn and coordinate all government approvals, permits, licences, registrations, inspections, and regulatory clearances required for project execution.\nLead the facilitation of importation and customs clearance for project equipment, materials, and machinery, proactively resolving issues that could impact delivery.\nEnsure import and customs requirements, documentation, permits, duties, exemptions, and potential regulatory constraints are identified before shipment.\nCoordinate closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Project Management to ensure timely clearance and delivery of goods.\nManage local and municipal government requirements related to site access, construction, inspections, utilities, and other project execution activities.\nProactively identify, assess, and resolve government and regulatory risks affecting project schedule, cost, procurement, importation, and overall execution.\nMaintain accurate and actionable government stakeholder maps, approval trackers, customs/importation trackers, and government risk logs.\nPartner closely with Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Commercial, Legal, Finance, HSE, Security, and other functions to integrate regulatory requirements into project planning.\nProvide senior project leadership with timely and substantive updates, recommendations, and escalation of government-related issues and risks.\nEnsure all interactions with government authorities are conducted in full compliance with Algerian law, company policies, and applicable ethical and anti-corruption standards.\nWhat will you bring:\nBachelor's degree in Law, Public Administration, International Relations, Political Science, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.\nMinimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in government relations, government affairs, public affairs, regulatory affairs, or government liaison roles.\nDemonstrated, practical experience navigating Algerian government processes, authorities, and administrative procedures.\nFluency in English.\nWhat will make you stand out:\nDirect experience with Algerian importation and customs processes,
