Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams, you will help deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality products that support the global energy transition.\nJob Description\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nFollowing all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) procedures and safe working practices\nProviding technical support and guidance to the Quality Inspection team\nConducting operator and quality inspector competency validations to ensure compliance with quality standards\nEnsuring quality control requirements are clearly defined and implemented throughout design, incoming goods inspection, and manufacturing processes\nManaging measurement equipment calibration and ensuring inspection equipment remains compliant\nPerforming workstation spot checks, supporting workshop assessments, and carrying out compliance audits\nLeading quality governance activities, including QR1 and QR2 meetings\nDriving continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen quality processes, improve product compliance, and reduce defects\nSupporting the development and maintenance of Manufacturing Control Plans and inspection documentation\nManaging quality records and ensuring accurate administration and document control\nReviewing and consolidating End of Manufacturing Reports for Engineering and Manufacturing\nWorking collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve operational performance\nWhat We’re Looking For\nEssential Skills & Experience\nPrevious experience in a Quality Control or Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment\nStrong knowledge of quality control techniques and inspection processes\nExcellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality products\nExperience conducting audits and supporting quality compliance activities\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills\nAbility to analyse problems and implement effective corrective actions\nProactive approach to continuous improvement and process optimisation\nAbility to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team\nRight to Work in the UK\nDesirable Skills & Knowledge\nKnowledge of transformer design and manufacturing processes\nInternal Auditor qualification or equivalent auditing experience\nExperience within an electro-mechanical or heavy manufacturing environment\nUnderstanding of Manufacturing Control Plans and quality governance processes\nFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies\nExperience working within regulated manufacturing environments\nAdditional Information\nShift Pattern: Rotating\nMonday to Friday:6am to 2pm, and\nMonday to Friday: 2pm to 10pm\nRelocation and Visa Sponsorship not provided\nWhy This Role Matters\nQuality Control Engineers play a vital role in ensuring our products consistently meet the highest quality and compliance standards.
