You have a project orientated mindset and understand that good results are achieved in collaboration with internal and external parties.\nReporting to the Senior Manager of Site Operations you will enable the organisation through resourcing activities and line management of Technicians that enable high performance delivery of SQDC targets in collaboration with our customers.\nPrimary location will be Remote or at the U.S. East Coast Offshore Wind Regional Office in East Greenwich RI. With some travel to our customers Operations & Maintenance buildings in RI and MA.\nJob Description\nResponsibilities:\n\nRecruit the GE technical resources for the windfarms to developing a squad-centric mentality.\nEvaluate the demand vs. capacity and ensure availability of internal or external competent resources to meet requirements.\nEnsure that a structured plan for technician development is ready for the recruitment process\nEstablish business aligned processes and procedures that meet the needs of the windfarms.\nCoordinate with the training center to ensure course availability and planning is in place for the technicians\nWorking with the Site Operations teams to facilitate On the Job Learning for the windfarm Technicians\nCoordinate and perform administrative activities as per relevant service processes, including tracking resource levels and productivity, evaluating planned technician levels and capacities, establishing requisitions, documentation requirements and managing availability.\nLead the windfarm resourcing planning, coordinating with internal and external partners to obtain the skills and capabilities required to deliver the operational plan.\nWork with the customer to facilitate transparency of resourcing plans and challenges.\nRelease the rotation resourcing plans in alignment with the Site Operations management team, to ensure consistency of resources and maintaining a squad-based mentality.\nLead the continual improvement culture within your area of responsibility, ensuring that high quality knowledge is retained and improved, and facilitating feedback to required stakeholders across the business.\nLead issue resolution, process & quality improvements, and business initiatives with other departments.\nLead the recruitment and talent development model to ensure continual improvement and progression for high performing technical and nontechnical Operational roles.\nArrange Authorization panels and Approve technician competence development.\nSupport the establishment of the competency framework and Safe System of Work governance processes.\nSupport the development and continual improvement of Standard Operation Procedures.\nTravel Expectations:\nThe role will be predominantly based Remotely and at the U.S. East Coast Offshore Regional Office in East Greenwich, RI. / The O&M building on Martha's Vineyard / The O&M building in North Kingstown, RI\nThe role requires international travel.\nEducation / Professional Experience\nDegree or professional education in an administrative discipline with extensive people management experience or / At least 4 years’ experience leading or managing others.\nCapable of working offshore at site operational wind farms.\nSignificant experience of offshore wind, onshore wind, or power plant maintenance operations\nProven ability to work in a cross-functional, global environment, with remote teams as a strong team player who can enable change and get work over the line.\nLanguage(s):\nFluency in English language\nTechnical knowledge and skills\n\nProven offshore wind, onshore wind, power plant experience or experience in a related discipline.\nHigh motivation level; self-starter with strong leadership and communication skills\nHigh capability with Microsoft Software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)\nStrong oral and written communication skills\nStrong interpersonal and leadership skills\nDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems in a structured manner.\nDemonstrated ability to lead Projects.\nEstablished project management skills\nDemonstrated experience leading technician teams.\nThis role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
