user, functional and performance requirements; simulation and testing.\nCarry out analysis and studies as consultancy and services, involving model-based static and dynamic analysis, and measurement-based studies.\nKnowledge transfer and support for customers in on-going projects, to promote increased utilisation of products, gather feedback, and identify potential follow-on business.\nTechnical support for sales process, including pre-sales customer presentations and workshops, pilot projects, and engagement on customer challenges.\nWriting technical reports, papers and presentations for conference and journal publications \nUp to 25% travel for customer interaction and project meetings\nQualifications/Requirements\nMSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience, with preferred focus on Power System Operations, Dynamics, Transients, Stability and/or Control.\nMust Have:\nA basic understanding and experience with power system modelling tools.\nFluent in English and be able to communicate effectively over teleconference and in face-to-face meetings.\nMust be a fast learner, with a willingness to develop knowledge in new areas and with an ability to conduct robust research.\nAn excellent communication skills, able to communicate complex and specialist concepts verbally, visually and in written word.\nThe abity to solve problems in a holistic manner and be able to work individually and in the team.\nThe willingness to develop leadership skills.\nDesirable Experience\nExperience of MATLAB / Simulink and other programming languages such as Python.\nExperience in power system analysis using industry standard tools including PSCAD, PSS/E, DigSILENT PowerFactory or Powertech DSATools.\nFamiliarity with RTDS or OPAL-RT environments.\nExperience with network management products including SCADA EMS / DMS and WAMS products.\nFamiliarity and experience with Power Electronics basic concepts and control capabilities.\nUtility or other industrial experience - in particular, experience in power system operations, planning or system analysis.\nAbout Us:\nWe are committed to addressing the climate crisis through innovative monitoring and control solutions that enable a zero carbon electricity grid.
