Collectively, these research programs and initiatives aim to solve near term technical challenges, deliver next generation product advances, and drive long term breakthrough innovation to enable more affordable, reliable, sustainable, and secure energy.\nJob Description\nEssential Responsibilities\nResearch & Development: Develop high-impact technology concepts focused on computer vision algorithms, perception, and system-level integration.\nTechnical Leadership: Lead and contribute to system architecture, design, and software development lifecycles.\nStrategic Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external thought leaders across the computer vision stack to identify and drive new applications and research initiatives.\nPosition Requirements\nEducation: PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline with 5+ years' applied experience, OR Master's Degree plus 8+ years' experience.\n Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience in at least three of the following:Systems architecture, design, and integration.\nDevelopment of camera and sensor drivers.\nSoftware engineering and architecture for complex systems.\nSpatial Awareness:Robotic perception, SLAM, visual odometry, or 3D point cloud processing (e.g., PCL, Open3D).\nSystem Integration:Architecture design, sensor fusion, and driver development for complex camera/lidar arrays\nSimulation:Use of synthetic environments (e.g., NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Gazebo) for model training and validation.\nHardware-in-the-loop:Integrating software into operational robotic systems or industrial hardware.\n Perception & Learning: Advanced computer vision algorithms, deep learning (PyTorch/TensorFlow), and model optimization for edge deployment.\n\nDevelopment Proficiency: Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.\nExecution: Proven track record of delivering technical projects and integrating software into functional, real-world systems.\nCompliance:Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
