This is a high-impact role for an experienced engineer who combines strong steam turbine knowledge with commercial awareness, customer focus, and cross-functional leadership.\nJob Description\nRoles and Responsibilities\nOwn the technical content of proposals for GE Vernova Steam Turbine configurations in partnership with the Commercial Operations and Design Engineering teams to help secure new orders.\nReview customer and EPC requests for proposal (RFPs) to evaluate technical requirements and define the appropriate steam turbine scope of supply.\nDevelop technical comments, clarifications, and exceptions to customer specifications, clearly identifying areas of compliance and deviation.\nIdentify special customer requirements and work with engineering and sourcing teams to develop competitive, executable solutions.\nDefine proposal strategies for steam turbine and associated equipment on large, complex projects.\nPartner with Engineering, Commercial Operations, Product Finance, and Product Line teams to align technical scope, cost, schedule, and bid strategy.\nLead technical discussions with regional application engineering teams, product engineering, execution engineering, and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality proposals.\nSupport early-stage customer engagement by helping guide customers toward preferred configurations and standard offerings where appropriate.\nLead technical scope and cost reviews for key opportunities, with support from the costing team as needed.\nMentor less experienced engineers and help build technical capability across the global application engineering team.\nDrive continuous improvement in tools, methods, standard work, quality, productivity, and cycle time.\nSupport the introduction of new products and features to improve steam turbine competitiveness in the market.\nStay current on product developments, industry trends, and internal processes, and promote their effective adoption within the team.\nBe available for occasional international travel to support customer meetings and technical clarifications.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent knowledge/experience.\nMinimum 10 years of experience in design engineering, application engineering or project execution within the power generation industry.\nSignificant experience working with customers on combined cycle power projects.\nDesired Characteristics\nStrong knowledge of steam turbine product portfolios, performance, and associated balance-of-plant equipment.\nExperience in tendering, proposal development, and deal strategy for new units or steam power services.\nUnderstanding of combined cycle plant requirements and the ability to evaluate technical and commercial trade-offs.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.\nExperience mentoring engineers and leading technical reviews across
