sourcing framework.Job Description\nKey Responsibilities\nExecute sourcing strategies tailored to commodity categories specific to HRSG module fabrication, including but not limited to pressure parts (e.g., headers, tubes, harps), casing and structural steel (e.g., module frames, platforms, supports), piping materials (carbon and alloy steel), consumables, packaging materials, and transport structures such as shipping frames and lifting frame roof casing etc. and harp/module assembly.\nPromote on-time delivery of purchasing items , supplier panel development and cost-saving initiatives to achieve OTD , deflation targets and improve sourcing KPIs.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with Factory teams, manufacturing, supplier quality, and engineering team , project teams to address daily sourcing challenges and deliver value through continuous improvement.\nSupport new product development (NPI) and engineering projects by identifying and qualifying alternative suppliers and fostering supply chain flexibility.\nCoordinate closely with global and regional sourcing leaders (material team) to ensure timely material availability, quality compliance, and productivity gains across the supply base.\nLead supplier negotiations with a focus on strategic alignment, total cost management, and risk mitigation.\nConduct supplier assessments in line with GE’s sourcing and compliance standards, ensuring sustainability and operational reliability.\nReview and evaluate commercial proposals to select optimal vendors based on cost, quality, capacity, and delivery performance.\nDevelop and lead cost-out strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders, influencing contracts and enabling long-term savings.\nManage procurement-related risks proactively, take ownership of issue resolution, and drive escalation handling where necessary.\nMonitor supplier performance using key metrics and lead supplier improvement initiatives to elevate overall sourcing efficiency.\nCommunicate key sourcing initiatives and performance updates to senior stakeholders, supporting both tactical execution and strategic planning.\nDesired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, Minimum of 5 years' experience in Sourcing, Operations, Supply Chain and/or Commercial\nExperienced commodity manager, advanced experience and demonstrated years in Sourcing & Commodity management.\nEnglish spoken.\nDesired Characteristics\nBachelor’s degree in Sourcing / Supply Chain Management preferred.\nPrevious Sourcing experience essential.\nKnowledge of purchasing practices, principles, and procedures.\nAbility to analyze and present statistical data.\nKnowledge of MS Office applications, including some knowledge of
