This includes having all tools and the correct version of the test software available, and ready for use.\nAssist with the startup and shutdown of full SMT lines.\nSupport feeder adjustments in size, indexing, and type within the line program.\nHelp with the setup and operation of various machines across multiple SMT lines.\nLoad and verify feeders, replenish reels, and execute changeovers efficiently.\nTrain to perform precise visual inspections at screen printing, bump, and AOI stations.\nReview and adhere to the Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering drawings, to ensure accuracy.\nCommunicate regularly with supervisors and engineers on the status of jobs, materials, configuration issues, etc.\nUtilize SAP (ERP) system for job-related and operational transactions.\nCarry out barcode scanning tasks with an understanding of barcode principles.\nAdditional duties may be assigned by supervisor, as needed.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma / GED\nEligibility Requirements\nMust be able to visually observe details at close range.\nThis position requires the ability to use repetitive motion, with a high-level of dexterity.\nMust be able to operate hand tools and computers.\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of a work shift.\nMust be able to move about inside the manufacturing area to access equipment, files, etc.\nDesired Characteristics\nDevelop skills for manual placement of SMT components as needed.\nPrior experience with hand tools and power tools\nAwareness to stop work; whether due to failing progress or potential quality or safety concerns.\nAbility to work independently or on a team to anticipate needs of the organization, setting up next shift for success.\nRespect and professionalism with all GE co-workers, staff, management, and customers.\nAbility to communicate effectively through email and instant messaging.\nGeneral PC skills, the GE network and GE specific software programs.\nAbility to work independently or on a team to anticipate needs of the organization, setting up next shift for success.\nThe pay for this position is $18-23/hr.The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
