This role requires coordination with Project Management, cross function teams, Centers of Excellence (CoEs), and the Project Office to deliver solutions that meet performance and cost targets aligned with project requirements. System Integrator for a given project will work with main project engineer & team of design engineers to execute design of Generator under his leadership.\nJob Description\nRole & Responsibilities\nDefine customer requirements and system regulations.\nProvide work packages to CoEs, including client requirements, interfaces, planning, performance, reliability, and cost within the agreed scope.\nServe as the single point of contact for external customers within the assigned scope.\nCoordinate and control interfaces among internal teams, customers, and partners as per the defined interface matrix (DOW).\nAccountable for managing risks, opportunities, and margin movement within the scope of work.\nHarmonize and manage technical documentation, including numbering and O&M documents.\nAct as the primary technical representative to customers, coordinating and following up with internal and external stakeholders.\nDefine alternatives and potential optimizations during the design phase that could impact design, supply, or site activities, in line with Product Management strategies.\nDeliver specifications and interface data to partners, including system, turbine, generator, and civil engineers.\nOversee and coordinate validation of drawings and documents for project-specific aspects.\nManage technical inputs and feedback across design, site, and customer interactions, from the Basic Design phase to final product acceptance and As-Built documentation.\nAct as the interface for all internal and external communications.\nEvaluate changes against customer requirements and GE standards, issuing and managing change orders as needed, in coordination with the PEM.\nParticipate in project review and gate meetings.\nCoordinate support for site activities with CoEs.\nManage project feedback for continuous improvement.\nQualifications\nBachelor / Advanced degree in engineering with minimum 10 + years experience in Hydro.\n· Strong knowledge in Hydro products / Large Generator’s Systems.
