There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.\nJob Description\nEssential Responsibilities\nThe Structural and Civil Engineer is a highly skilled professional responsible for handling the design, development, and management of complex civil and structural engineering projects. This role involves applying advanced engineering principles to solve intricate problems, ensuring projects meet regulatory standards, and providing right solutions on time.\nIndividually handle the creation and review of detailed engineering designs and plans for large-scale industrial projects (e.g., 400kV & 220kV Switchyards, GIS and Main control buildings, Conversion sub stations, synchronous condensers and rotating stabilizers projects etc.).\nUtilize advanced computer-aided design (CAD) software and structural analysis tools to produce precise and scalable designs.\nOversee the progress of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.\nEnsure all designs and projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.\nConduct thorough site visits to assess project conditions, ensure adherence to design specifications, and address any issues that arise.\nEvaluate environmental factors and their potential effects on project outcomes, incorporating innovative solutions where appropriate.\nPrepare comprehensive reports, specifications, and presentations for project reviews, client meetings, and regulatory submissions.\nMaintain meticulous records of project progress, changes, and communications.\nWork closely with architects, urban planners, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate civil and structural engineering aspects into broader project plans.\nCommunicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide technical guidance, and ensure client satisfaction.\nQualifications / Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field;\n3+ years of experience in structural and civil engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.\nFamiliarity with local and national, international building codes, regulations, and industry standards.\nCAD Software: Proficiency in advanced CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation.\nStructural Analysis Tools: Experience with any of structural analysis and design software like STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or ETABS.\n BIM Software: Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools for integrated project delivery.\n3D Modeling and Simulation: Skills in 3D modeling software for visualizing and simulating structural behaviors.\nAbility to adapt and multitask with project / application engineers\nAnalytical and innovative approach in problem solving\nProficiency in MS Office applications\nPLM, Primavera experience are added advantage\nDesired Characteristics\nCollaborate effectively within a matrix team environment to ensure successful project execution.\nDemonstrate a passionate willingness to learn and
