This role works closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver a clear, descriptive set of requirements that enables the successful delivery of product features and functionality.A key priority of the role is to ensure seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders, including EHS Leaders, Technical Anchors, Service Owners, and Developers. The Staff Technical Product Manager translates strategic priorities into actionable product requirements, supports effective decision-making, and helps ensure that digital technology solutions advance Wind EHS objectives while delivering measurable value to the business.\nJob Description\nRoles & Responsibilities\nDemonstrates excellent business acumen, understands the latest industry trends, and is recognized as an internal expert on the product and the associated competitive landscape.\nInteracts with customers and stakeholders through Voice of Customer requirements gathering, fine tuning, and product feedback sessions.\nWorks with cross-functional teams to deliver product features and significant product outcomes.\nUse AI to improve safety across our organization and to enhance planning, prioritization, reporting, risk management, decision quality, and stakeholder communication while ensuring platforms and data foundations enable responsible AI, analytics, automation, and growth capabilities\nRoutinely collaborates with UX on design decisions; conducts customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborates on personas.\nDemonstrates superior persuasion and influencing skills to ensure alignment between customers, Product Managers, and engineering teams.\nOwns release planning and sprint backlogs, including the short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases.\nOwns and manages the product backlog, continuously ordering and prioritizing work to ensure that one to two sprints or iterations of backlog are always ready.\nContinuously prioritizes work based on validated understanding of customer problems and needs.\nDemonstrates strategic-level skills in problem decomposition and the ability to navigate ambiguity.\nEngages frequently with the development team, approximately 50% of the time, to facilitate discussions, provide clarification, support story acceptance and refinement, conduct testing and validation, and contribute to design activities and decisions.\nTranslates unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units.\nPartners with Development Leadership and Service Owners to ensure a healthy development process.\nMentors junior team members.\nServes as an expert in Agile methodology.\nBasic Qualifications:\nEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant IT or Engineering field.\nExperience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.\nAgile Expertise: Demonstrated history of working in and leading Agile environments.\nProblem Solving: Proven ability to decompose complex problems and navigate ambiguity.\nCommunication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.\nDesired Characteristics\nBusiness Acumen: Deep understanding of industry trends, the competitive landscape, and the business value of technology choices.\nLeadership: Ability to mentor others, identify downstream consequences, and drive teams toward a common vision.\nTechnical Fluency: Familiarity with software design, coding principles, and modern implementation options.\nCritical Thinking: Skilled at identifying patterns in complex information and proactively identifying solutions to obstacles.\nGE Vernova offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
