In this position, you can develop yourself into a full business partner for the organization.\nFor our Finance team within GEA Refrigeration Netherlands, we are searching for a Business Controller.\nResponsibilities / Tasks\nAs Business Controller, you combine strong business partnering with a hands-on focus on accounting operations. You support management with reliable insights, forecasts and performance analysis, while taking ownership of accurate postings, reconciliations, period-end closing activities and the quality of the underlying financial data. You help translate operational developments into financial impact and ensure compliance with GEA standards, local regulations and external reporting requirements (IFRS/NL GAAP).\nYour tasks:\nPartner with management and operational teams on financial performance and decisions. \nCoordinate period-end closing, including journal entries, accruals, provisions and corrections. \nEnsure accurate postings, reconciliations and timely resolution of accounting issues. \nPrepare budgets, forecasts, reports and variance analyses. \nMonitor margins, costs, projects, service performance, inventory and work in progress. \nSupport cash flow, working capital, internal controls and statutory compliance. \nImprove finance and accounting processes with the Shared Service Centre.\nYour Profile / Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics.\nAt least three years' experience in controlling or accounting. \nStrong accounting, closing, reconciliation and financial-control knowledge. \nAnalytical, hands-on and able to connect financial and operational performance. \nStrong communication skills and a proactive, accurate working style. \nExperience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and strong Excel skills. \nFluent in Dutch and English; international experience is an advantage.\n Our offer:\n27 holidays and 13 ADV days based on full-time employment.\nCompetitive salary and 8% holiday pay.\nTravel allowance. \nParticipation in pension fund (PME).\nPossibility of collective health insurance.\nHome working allowance (40% home working based on full-time employment).\nContribution to your sports subscription.\nWhat happens once you have applied?\n You will receive an e-mail when your application has been processed.
