This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled electrical professional to play a key role in the delivery of industrial projects within brewing, beverage, dairy, and pharmaceutical process industries.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical installation and commissioning activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with clients, contractors, panel builders, and internal engineering teams, you will contribute throughout the project lifecycle from design support and planning through to commissioning and handover.\nResponsibilities / Tasks\nSite Installation Supervision\nOnsite supervision of electrical contractors for the duration of installation works.\nEnsure adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability standards, policies and procedures.\nEnsure adherence to company policies, statutory regulations, and site-specific requirements.\nMonitor installation quality, progress, and contractor performance.\nCoordinate work activities to ensure on schedule completion within budget.\nManage technical challenges on site and implement practical solutions to maintain project progress.\nCommissioning & Startup\nPlanning and execution of commissioning activities associated with the installation (motors, valves and instrumentation).\nPower up and commissioning of installed MCC and Remote IO panels.\nCo-ordinate with Contractor, Customer and wider GEA team to ensure Lock Out, Tag Out (LOTO) procedures are strictly enforced.\nImplement Installation Qualification procedures to verify successful completion of installation, wiring, testing, and equipment startup.\nSupport wider project team during overall system start-up, engaging in fault finding, functional testing, and final handover activities.\nLiaise with customer operations, maintenance and engineering teams during commissioning to deliver required handover training.\nEngineering, Design, Procurement & Sales Support\nPreparation and maintenance of documentation in accordance with internal procedures, quality standards, and project requirements.\nProvide support for tendering and procurement processes associated with electrical panel fabrication and site electrical installation.\nLiaise with fabrication contractor throughout panel assembly period and take a lead role during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).\nProvide regular progress reports to the Project Manager and attendance at all weekly co-ordination/planning meetings.\nContribute to the development of estimates and budgets for projects during the Sales phase.\nYour Profile / Qualifications\nQualifications & Experience:\nQualified Electrician, Technician or Engineer with recognised certification.\nMinimum of 5 years' experience working in industrial environments (electrical installations, commissioning, or maintenance).\nMinimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory, commissioning, or project delivery role.\nStrong understanding of the fundamentals of motor control, variable speed drives, instrumentation, MCC and Control Panels.\nExcellent ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, cable schedules and technical documentation.\nProven experience commissioning electrical and control systems, including fault finding and troubleshooting.\nStrong understanding of safe systems of work, electrical safety practices and permit-to-work systems.\nWorking knowledge of Irish/EU electrical regulations, and standards.\nStrong Site supervision skills / Project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and execution.\nWillingness to upskill and become involved on the Electrical design and estimation stages of various projects.\nStrong computer literacy.\nFull driving licence valid in Ireland, EU or UK and willingness to travel to customer sites.\nPersonal Attributes:\nStrong leadership and decision-making abilities.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English.\nSafety-focused with attention to detail.\nPractical problem solver with a hands-on approach.\nSelf-motivated, ability to work
